Alonso Chavez was born on November 15, 1996, in Mexico City, from a very small age he was always attracted to the arts such as music and plastics. His first formal approch towards painting was while he was studing basic educaion, after a while, he entered to study at CEDART Miguel Cabrera in the city of Oaxaca.
His concern and curiosity lead him to join different projects with teachers and colleagues. He saw and took the opportunity to get to know different techniques, he esperimented with the intent to develop a plastic language of his own.
Alonso's work is a tribute to life and nature, taking the study of birds as inspiration. His painting reflects the power of expression and dynamism that he achieves through strokes and well-intentioned stains. He's not trying to hide anything, he's trying to use the material with the intention to create characters made of oil, watercolor, acrylic, wax. plastic. etc
